Network Sculpture Symbiosis was an artistic research based in utilising natural materials for network-based sculpture. We explored clay, wood, and glass as a base for low-cost, open-source SoC.

During 2022-23 we wished to initiate a distributed network of contemporary digital art web galleries, based on the Pivilion network infrastructure, aiming to support digital art autonomy and non-commercial non-censored distribution via the internet infrastructure.

After completing it at the Cite Residency, our (server/sculpture:hypermedia) work “Pivilion/EXEno1:TOGETHERTOGETHER” got selected for the 28. SLAVONIAN BIENNALE – “New paradigms of happiness, from Osijek-based Dada to contemporary chaos” where we also got an EX AEQUO award❣️

Little did we know it’s the same days as Ultra festival in Split so the whole town was out for the weekend – but was nice anyway so we extend a big thank you to our courageous participants. 🌞

A single “Pivilion/EXEno1” sculpture is semi-permanently hosting Pivilion code at the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb (MSU) “Comradeship / Collection as a Verb” which is showing segments of the museum permanent collection dealing with various collaborative notions.
